On May 10-11, 2019, the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, the Chinese Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, the Chinese Society of Microbiology and the China Working Dog Management Association jointly held the 2019 International Symposium on Zoonoses and Rabies Conference in China Annually in Hefei, Anhui Province.
More than a dozen of academicians and foreign experts as well as nearly 200 well-known experts in the field of domestic zoonosis attended the conference and gave out academic reports. Nearly 2,000 professionals from the health, agriculture, public security systems, and related institutions and research institutions visited the conference. The conference themed “One world, One health, Preventing Zoonoses Together”. In the two-day conference, a one-day conference report, 14 sub-conferences, five round-table discussions,1 expert’s Q&A and 1 poster communication are scheduled.
This conference is an academic event of cross-departmental and multi-disciplinary exchanges held in the field of prevention and control of human zoonosis in recent years. Experts both from China and abroad gathered together to share knowledge and ideas, the communications and discussions are so meaningful and helpful.
With the theme of “OLYMVAX LIAN, Guards Life!”, Olymvax answered questions on the treatment of tetanus after animal injury raised by more than 800 doctors across the country who is in the field of dog-injury treatment.
